Border It Now
Do you ever find yourself working in MS Excel when you need a quick border for a cell or a group of cells?
You could go through the hassle of the whole “hands off the keyboard and onto the mouse” method or you could just highlight the cells to be bordered and try Ctrl + Shift + &.
Yep, that’s it. Three little keys will do the trick!
Want to remove the border?
Again, just highlight the cells involved, but this time, try Ctrl + Shift + _.
The border is gone!
Oh, one more thing!
If you’re wondering how this saves you from using the mouse, I’d like to remind you about the power of the Shift key.
Hold down the Shift key while using the arrow keys to move the cell selection and you’ll leave a trail of selected cells. Yes!
